The American Heart Association
Today Is American Heart Association National Wear Red Day.
Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women in the United States, claiming more lives than all forms of cancer combined. For more than 10 years, the American Heart Association has sponsored National Wear Red Day® to raise awareness in the fight against heart disease in Go Red For Women Friday, Feb. 7, 2014.
If you would like to make a donation to the American Heart Association, visit the link in this blog. My daughter, along with her school, has created a web page for the cause. Thank you.

God know’s that it is not easy for us to forgive those who has hurt us. But believe that He will give you the strength, courage, and wisdom to do so. It is necessary to forgive others, so that we can inherit the heavenly kingdom.
Thanksgiving is coming up. I personally do not celebrate it. Do you celebrate Thanksgiving? Why, or why not?
I love to eat spaghetti. It is so comforting, filling, and easy to make.
About 2 years ago, I found Christ. Before then, I use to worship Satan, unknowingly. I listened to songs that were violent, sexual, fantasy, and just outright evil. I would also watch movies that were the same way. I even allowed my children to watch these evil movies and sing sexual songs. We don’t realize that the world is under the rule of Satan (I John 5:19), and that we are tricked into worshiping him instead of the Almighty Jesus Christ (II Corinthians 4:4).
1 John 5:19
19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
2 Corinthians 4:4
4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Now that I am walking with Jesus, I feel so blessed. I realize that things are not always going to go my way. Jesus has a plan for me, and each and everyone of us. Once you choose to live in Christ, the right way, you are one step closer to heaven.
Question: What can you do to turn your life around today?
